Crop care – P1160082

Sclerotinia stem rot is one of the most destructive diseases of canola. Plants are infected when the canola is in bloom so at this time fungicide is applied by either ground or air to protect the crop. It is especially important to do so in wet years like this when disease pressure is high. This photo shows the tracks a high-clearance sprayer left behind.
