Last night’s fog
transformed into frost

Together, they enveloped the landscape
in soft hues of white

Creating an ethereal canvas
— still, calm, peaceful

As if nature knew
the world needed to pause.

frost envelopes our world.

Mother Nature is creating
an extraordinary canvas.

Nudging us to press pause,
take in and admire her beauty.

Everything wrapped in white,
so calm, still, ethereal…

I wish the whole world could feel.
